The 2nd annual The Brewing Hope Charity Pub Crawl benefiting Multiple Sclerosis is taking place on Saturday, February 26th from 1:00-5:00 pm. Last year’s event was so much fun and a huge success with many people asking for us to come back. For more information click on the Austin sign.
You may reserve your team’s spot now and then gather friends for your team. The cost is $40/person. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed team as well as largest team so get as many of your friends together as you can and come on out for a few beers and help raise money for a great cause. This year there will also be a ‘photo scavenger hunt’ so be sure to bring your cameras. Look forward to seeing you all there.

There are some really fun things planned for the event. We’ve got a lot of cool teams signed up already….Booze Krewe, The Slammed I Ams, Looks Like You Need a Beer, Dipsomaniacs and then there are teams back for a second run, Drinkin’ Diablos, Team White Rice who I believe are the reigning FLIP CUP champs, and Fun Babies 3. Tyler will be back from Fuller Fotography to capture all the fun and we have raffles from some of our other local sponsors such as Team Ensor Realty. So get your friends together and come out and join us for a fabulous Austin afternoon of beer drinking and harmless debauchery. You can go to www.brewinghope.com to register your team today. Friday, January 22, 2010 15:23 No CommentsOne of downtown Austin’s newest establishments has been added to the lineup for the Austin Charity Pub Crawl. Kung Fu Saloon has generously lent its support to our cause. Registration for this February 6th event ends in a couple days on January 26th, so sign up now!! Brewing Hope is organizing this event with proceeds benefiting the National MS Society. Below is an excerpt from Kung Fu Saloon’s website:
Kung Fu Saloon is a West 6thStreet area watering hole featuring a relaxed atmosphere in downtown Austin. To satisfy your thirst we offer a full bar including 24 beers on tap, with a selection ranging from the everyman’s Miller Light to the Belgian man’s Chimay. Oh yeah, we almost forgot to mention the specialty Sake bomb menu!
Entertainment includes 14 vintage arcade games like Ms. Pacman, NBA Jam, Street Fighter II, Galaga, Golden Tee, Space Invaders & more. The fun continues with Shuffleboard, three original Skee Ball machines, and board games available for checkout at your table including Jenga, Boggle, Dominoes, & Giant Checkers.

Saturday, January 16, 2010 23:40 No CommentsBrewing Hope has made registering your team for our Austin charity pub crawl much easier. Teams with as little as 2 people can now register for the event. On the registration form, there is also an option for “Team Pairing”. This will allow teams to have the same bar schedule on the crawl as other teams of their choice.
After reviewing the details on our Event page, Team Captains can register by selecting the appropriate size of their team and clicking on the PayPal link. This will take registrants to the PayPal site to complete the transaction. Once this is completed, you will be automatically redirected to the registration page. It is here where teams can enter their details, such as t-shirt sizes, colors, etc.
With this new option, groups of all sizes can enjoy a fun-filled afternoon for a good cause.

The Ranch, Molotov, Tiniest Bar in Texas and Key Bar bring the current total to 6 bars that have given their support to the event. J Blacks and Union Park confirmed for particpation in the Austin Charity Pub Crawl

We are happy to announce that J Blacks Feel Good Lounge and Union Park are participating in the Brewing Hope Charity Pub Crawl in Austin on February 6, 2010.
J Blacks is a lively bar with the right amount of class, located in the West 6th Street district. It is a great spot for happy hour, with food and drink specials every day. There is an outdoor patio with tables and chairs and a large oval bar with seating all the way around it on the inside. Additionally, there is a comfortable lounge area in the back which is great for private parties and events or just kicking back and relaxing.
Union Park is one of Austin’s premier bi-level rooftop bars. The first floor contains a pool table, small covered patio and and ample seating, surrounding their circular bar. When the weather is good, most people make their way to the rooftop bar, with its Zen-like foliage, bamboo partitions and benches, it offers a remarkable atmosphere. With its signature cocktails and great selection of food items, Union Park has got it covered.
