Bars confirmed for the Fort Worth Charity Pub Crawl
Wednesday, April 21, 2010 19:20 No CommentsBrewing Hope is proud to have the support of 2 bars in the West 7th street area for the Fort Worth Charity Pub Crawl: Boomerjacks and Capital Bar. The following is an excerpt from their website:
BoomerJack’s Grill & Bar has been in business for over six years. We first opened (in that other great city to the East that starts with the letter “D”) as a fast casual concept with the idea of providing a place that offers great food and an awesome atmosphere. BoomerJack’s is a place where people can go and enjoy a relaxing dining experience with their friends and family. We’ve since grown into our Fort Worth signature flagship location with an atmosphere to which there’s really no comparison.
We’re located in the beautifully restored Montgomery Plaza building, originally constructed in 1928 to be a major retail and distribution center for the Montgomery Wards Company. Only a few blocks away from the world renowned Fort Worth Cultural District, BoomerJack’s offers the best ‘made-from-scratch’ menu you’ll find. There’s the big flavor of our award winning, signature half-pound burgers that are ‘to die for’, fresh-cut fries, the coldest beer in Fort Worth and a banana pudding so good we’ll give your money back if you don’t agree.
Here is a brief description from the Examiner.com of the Capital Bar:
Capital Bar is located in the popular West 7th area of Fort Worth, just west of downtown. One of the main attractions to this bar is its rooftop patio, the largest in Fort Worth with 1500 square feet of outdoor space.
Most of the roof top patio is filled with tables and chairs, though over to one side is a lounge area with couches and coffee tables. It’s not the greatest view of downtown as some claim, but there is a nice view from the deck. The indoor bar is split level and stretches most of the first level with several flat screen TVs along the bar. A patio extension on the first level to be used as an outdoor stage is in the works so we may very well see Capital Bar as the newest live music venue in town.
